Level 2 sets the trader on a path of reading market profile on top of price and Q Points for trade locations. Level 2 also aims to reduce the swing trading durations down to 12 hours to maximum 2 days. This means that the stop sizes need to be scaled down to the liquidity of the traded instrument while still ensuring a moderately high risk/reward, requiring more skill and more due diligence on the trade locations. Top down approach from Level 1 and an existence of a solid weekly trading plan is a must at this point. Level 2 goes further to introduce a systematic flow chart to help with trade decisions with regards to Q Points, supply/demand and market profile. Level 2 teaches trades how to get back in on a trend that’s already started and more effective alternative capital protection techniques. We also delve deeper into the binary decision process of validation vs invalidation of trading ideas.
